so, i have been an official slacker as far as xanga goes. i'll be the first to admit it! things have been busy...not much opportunity to write, not much to write about, etc, etc. news: class started yesterday and i have a FULL load. my polisci classes may kill me. we'll see. i have to read war and peace for one of my classes, and that's not daunting at all.(seriously sarcastic). everytime i pick the book up i feel a little sick. yikes! poetry writing should be fun...i hope to learn a lot. spanish...well, it's spanish. i'll enjoy it and i'll learn. no problems there. other news: jess will be in florida next week and i'm going to visit her and lizette is coming too!!! woooohoooo. VERY EXCITED. i hope my car doesn't break down this time. i MAY be stranded in the backwoods of alabama.... and also: for the first time since high school, i am not single! SO HAPPY. andy is amazing.' there you have it folks, it's not the same as gallavanting through the hidden allyways of cambridge or hiking the mediterranean coast in italy. but it's life and in some ways, to me, it's better. |
